Toyota-Lexus PCM ECU ECM OBD-II Security Reset Installation Instructions

  1. Take out the key from the ignition and disconnect both battery terminals.
  2. Remove the old ECU and install the new one.
  3. Reconnect both battery terminals.
  4. Insert the OBD-II Reset Plug into the vehicle's OBD-II Port.
  5. Turn the ignition to the "on" position without starting the engine. (For vehicles with keyless start, press the start button once without pressing the brake pedal).
  6. After waiting for 30 minutes, turn the ignition to the "off" position. (For vehicles with keyless start, press the start button once without pressing the brake pedal).
  7. Remove the OBD-II Reset Plug
  8. Start the Vehicle.

NOTE: This procedure assumes that the original immobilizer is installed. Before installing the new ECU, make sure you have fixed any existing vehicle issues to prevent potential damage to internal components. Damages caused by vehicle issues are not covered under our warranty.
